Found Horse in NC Goes Up For Auction May of you you asked about the "found mare".  Several of you hoped the horse was a gelding that you had lost.  I wished she were.  No one has come forward to claim her even with extensive local coverage in the news. Thank you to all who wrote and asked questions or who offered to take her. If you are interested in aquiring her here is your chance.  The mare at the shelter is going up for auction on the 29th of August at 11:00 am. So if you want to make that announcement then maybe we can find a good home for her. The auction will be held at the Iredell County Animal Shelter on Twin Oaks golf Course road in Statesville NC.
