PURPOSE OF STOLEN HORSE INTERNATIONAL Stolen Horse International (SHI) is a private organization. Our mission is to create and lead a coordinated, worldwide response to the problems of missing and stolen horses. SHI disseminates information, raises public awareness, and creates educational information for volunteers of SHI. SHI will: (1) Generate volunteers worldwide (2) Build an international network to disseminate images and information on missing and stolen horses (3) Provide information to law enforcement, legal professionals, non-governmental organizations and government officials upon request and advocate changes in laws and systems to safeguard horses worldwide.
