Dear God, As you hold those newly arrived in heaven in the palm of your hand from the 9-11 tragedy. Please continue to comfort and console their families and friends even now. Please help us to remember the rescuers who labored at the sites of the tragedies. Keep them safe and healthy to continue to do their jobs. Keep their families strong too. We remember, praise, and ask for blessings still, for the many volunteers across the country who donated support in so many ways. Please strengthen them even more and help show us that LOVE WILL CONTINUE TO TRIUMPH OVER EVIL!!! Let us not lose heart. Let us take joy in the fact that these tragedies have not divided us, but united us as the family we truly are. Let this time come to be a renewal of spirituality in our nation. Thank you for the faith that has arisen from the tears. Keep our world leaders focused on dealing with the perpetrators of terrorist activity. And lastly, dear God, watch over and keep us safe as travelers while we journey until home again on American soil. Until we are able to fly our American flags, volunteer, and join with our friends, family, and neighbors in prayer again. |
