Crystal was stolen June 14 from Morganton, NC. She is a palomino and white pinto, 8 yrs.old..
My daughter stopped to give her a hug the day we got Crystal back. From what she said Crystal seemed a little confused - wouldn't eat when food was first put in front of her which is sooo not like Crystal - ha!. But it didn't take her long. She is already too fat again. We are already getting requests for visits with Crystal. It is so nice having her back. I have gone out every day to give her a hug.
Her mane has all been shaved off and her tail is very short. I can tell she had been kept inside out of the sun because her coat was not faded at all. Her markings are still showing loud and clear.
Every time I look at Crystal I just can't believe she is back. She seems to be a little grumpy but otherwise the same. I guess she has been through a lot in these past 3 months. Shealy said finding her was just blind luck but I know it was much more than that. take care and keep up your good work!!!.....
Thank you so much for your willingness to help us find our little horse.

Fancy --Wilesboro, NC stolen 2/4/02 -- Recovered 2/14/02 Dear Debbie, Fancy is back home safe an sound turned up in my hay feild on Friday morning with new shoes and stange halter. When I got a call from neighbor to tell me a horse was out I thought the mustang was out again since he had done it afew days ago. When I went over he was in his corral as was everyone else so I walked toward the hay field and saw what I thought wasFancy but didn't beleive it. I whistled and called and she nickerd back and started coming to me. I gave her a big hug and led her up to Bernice's house (my other mom) and was yelling, "Come and look Bernice!" What a great day!
Please pass along to everyone how much I appreciate their help. I plan on continuing to help the other people in this area look for their horse's as well as the others on the web site.
Once again thanks will send picture soon Love and Prayers Louise
THIS, FROM A VERY HELPFUL FRIEND.... Hi, Guess what? Fancy was brought back and put into the pasture last night. She had a strange halter and a new set of shoes. Louise is so happy she can hardly stand her self. She and I both cried and screamed this morning. It is wonderful what you are doing. I would love to help. Let me know what I can do. Thanks to All, Fran
Duke Wanna Cruz (TOM) Seguin Texas 24 June 2002 Horse was taken from a barn on Warncke Road in New Berlin, Texas during the night. Sorrel Quarter Horse Very friendly gelding with no apparent markings other than a white star on his face. He is missing hair on his right front shoulder from a recent kick, and has a small girth sore on the right side. He has a scar on his right hip, just below the croup, that is grown over with hair and proud flesh. The hair just above each hoof is flaxen. The mane just below the bridle path lays opposite the rest of his mane. RECOVERED!!! 2nd update...He's Recovered! About 15 miles from where he was taken. Most likely someone dumped him after they figured out they got the wrong horse! He's happy and home! Thanks, Kate Petty
