If you know someone who has bought a palomino....please be curious for me. Look closely at their blaze markings and compare the photos. After looking at over 100 palominos in 5 states; I am painfully aware that I will be the only person who could tell for sure. From even a few feet away there are very strong resemblances to my horses, and I will be glad to judge for sure. I will buy these horses back as someone long ago sole, possibly resold the pair or separated them. The $3000 reward still stands. Crimestoppers is still available for the person bring forth the information. I am no longer interested in a legal search for the thieves. SORREL QH MISSING THROUGH LEASE GONE BAD Coatesville Pa. 19320 Date Reported to SHI: Tue Mar 26 2002 DATE MISSING: Spring 2001 BREED: Quarter Horse COLOR: Sorrel SEX: Gelding HEIGHT: 16.0 WEIGHT:1500 AGE: 18 IDENTIFYING MARKS: He does have a scar on one of his hind legs by his hock I beleive it is his right hind. He has a star a strip and a snip on his face. He has no other white markings on him . He is pigeon toed . OTHER INFORMATION: I leased my horse to a lady who I thought was using him for a trail horse. She took him on 9-22-96 I had been over to her house to visit him a few times . He seemed fine . So I stopped bugging her and I became busy with my new family I had a baby in 1998 then again in 1999 Needless to say I have been busy . So I did not get out to see him anymore I would just talk to his new caretaker over the phone and she ensured me he was fine. Then in the Spring of 2001 I went to visit him But to my surprise the pasture was empty ! When I tried to call the person who had my horse she would not answer . I had to track her down at her work . And after a lot of begging she finally told me that she had given MY horse to her Daughter So then I had to go on another wild goose chase to find her daughter. When I did finally talk to her she told me she had given MY horse to a friend in Upstate N.Y.. Some friend she could not come up with that friends telephone number . STILL SEARCHING AFTER ALL THESE YEARS (Edited excerpts from an owners letter for help.) To horse friends everywhere, This is my last organized effort in an exhausting and heartbreaking search for my two horses raised from birth that were stolen many summers ago from our farm. Time has eroded most clues I had to their disappearance. However, it is still like I have loved one in my family missing; you never want to accept they are gone forever. |
