Terms of Agreement On All Rewards
Stolen Horse International frowns upon individuals who misrepresent their intentions in posting rewards and then not paying the amount stated.  Please do not post a reward if you have no intentions on paying the reward or if you may be short of money to pay the reward at any time.

Furthermore:

SHI Policy on Recovering Reward Offers
SHI does not accept or disseminate recovery reward offers without a commitment from the owner of the missing horse (“Owner”) that the offered reward is genuine, and will be paid as represented upon recovery of the horse. Accordingly, the submission of a recovery reward offer to SHI by an Owner constitutes acceptance of, and agreement to, all of the following terms:

Owner represents that he or she is financially able to pay the offered reward.
The recovery reward offer constitutes an offer to contract which can be accepted by the actions of those undertaking efforts to cause the recovery of the horse. Rewards sent in after the original report by email or mail are covered under this agreement.
The reward will be paid in full within 15 days of recovery of the horse, to the individual(s) and/or organization(s) specifically including SHI whose action(s) resulted in the recovery through education, dispersed information, etc.

Any dispute over entitlement to or payment of the reward or any portion of the reward will be resolved through a civil action in the Superior Court of Cleveland County, North Carolina, which shall have sole jurisdiction over all such disputes.  If SHI is awarded funds by the court then you, the person responsible for  the reward will pay all fees associated with legal action against you.
If a reward is posted on the site, on a flyer made by SHI or owner, in any  public forum or any format and a horse/ tack or trailer is found, Stolen Horse International can claim 10% or more of the money for a service fee for services rendered on  your behalf.
