This page has some new but mostly older listings of missing and stolen horses. They became that way by a variety of methods and reasons. You can learn from this page. Most do not have pictures or flyers. Some do not have current emails -- maybe the owners have given up?
Read on and see how common horse theft is. Maybe you will
recognize one of the missing. Maybe they are in your pasture
right now. If any of these horses are alive, they are somewhere,
fed by somebody, shod by a farrier, treated by vets.
Keep your eyes open and don't look the other way.

Sorrel horse with a star and blaze-face, and a pinch of a white stocking on the right, back leg. Also, a fresh brand on the left back hip that is DB. But, it is blistered off and it looks like a big sore on the left, back hip.

This past weekend, someone I know had a horse go missing. The animals got out and everyone but this mare was found. "Bold" is a 25-26 year old TB mare. She is dark brown with the number 41 freeze branded on her left hip. She has a small white star on her head, no other markings. Cocoa has been missing since April 10, 2001 from the Philadelphia, Roxborough area. Cocoa is a Tenneassee Walking Horse, genlding. 21 years old, Lt chestnut brown, with a blond/tan mane and same color tail that almost touches the ground. On his forhead is a white circle about the size of a 50c piece with a smaller connecting wht dimond shaped. One his left front hoof is a short wht sock and the hind leg has a white sock about 1/4 up the leg. His right hoofs both have short Lt tan socks. Ever So Lucky Date Stolen - 3/1/95 -- Stolen From - Hanford, Ca USA
"Lucky" is a registered paint gelding. He was three when he was stolen. He is a chestnut with roaning throughtout his hair. He has a flaxen mane and tail. There is a brand on his left hip of a D with a lazy 5 above it. He has four very high stockings with his right front running up the inside of his leg to his belly and is speckled in his cinch area. He has a large blaze the shape of a diamond at the top and it almost touches his eyes. It then runs down with a hook in the left side of it and covers his left nostril with the right nostril being black. He was the reserve state champion and the reserve world champion in 1994 for halter. Lucky was just started under saddle when stolen. I have a photo but I'm not sure how to attatch it to this form. Any info is very appreciated.

taken from masonic lodge at morley, leeds west yorkshire at about 21:00 on 21st october 2000. beleived stolen by solitary male who made off in direction of driglington riding bareback. no furthur description of offender available.
at time of theft juke was wearing a blue masta rug which had torn and had been patched with silver duct tape. any information about whereabouts greatly appreciated. reward considered for information leading to recovery of juke.

Frazier was 2 yrs old when he was stolen. He is a black bay registered breeding stock paint. He stood 16.1hds when stolen and growing like a weed. He was developing knee problems with such rapid growth. He has three half stockings and his right front leg is black. His face has a unusual like a square half moon between his eyes with a break and a blaze down the rest of his face going between his nostrils. He has a couple of white spots on his lower lip about the size of quarters if I remember right.

Majee and Annie - ElMarees Picture This! a/k/a Annie. Foaled 03-10-99. (Commands Night Sentry x Abstract Art). Annie is a tri-colored Pinto American Saddlebred filly. ElMarees Majeeda a/k/a Majee. Foaled April 8th, 1999. (Trinity Fire x Knight Song) Majee is a solid chestnut with a star, strip and snip into left nostril to upper lip. Lower lip. Right fore sock. Both hind stockings. Majee's star is shaped like the famous Arabian stallion, *Muscat. Majee is a registered Half Arabian filly. These fillies were sold to K. Holman who resided near Tulsa, Oklahoma July 1999 and were shipped shortly thereafter. This was a contract to purchase sale. Both were stabled at Jan Spencer's boarding stable in Glenpool, Oklahoma where they was wrongfully sold to Jim McCall for back board that was owed by K. Holman. Both parties were aware that these fillies were being purchased on a contract to purchase sale and Oklahoma State Statutes were not followed regarding the procedure of this sale as it had not been ordered by a Judge. There is still a remaining balance due on these fillies by K. Holman and I am seeking the where abouts of both to put closure to this situation. I still have the registration papers on these fillies and am seeking a remedy to this. I am not seeking the repossession of these fillies, I just want to be compensated for the remaining amount due on them. Jim McCall would of sold them either at the Tulsa Stockyard in Tulsa, Oklahoma or the Bristol Sale Barn late summer of 1999. I have just learned of this late June of 2001. If any body has any knowledge of these fillies, please contact us!

Gelding - 15.0 Hands. 15 year old sorrel with very large socks behind one sock above hock. Sock on front right to knee. White mark at knee on left. 1100 lbs. Blaze face. Not branded. Owned by Nicci Pedrozzi.

QUICKIE I need help to find my missing horse. Quickie was sold illegally in 9/99 in Carencro, La. He was purchased by Stanley Brothers out of Hamburg, Arkansas who has since resold him as they are horse traders. At this point in time, Quickie could be anywhere. Quickie is @14-15 hands, sorrel in color with a red mane and tail. During cooler months, Quickie does turn somewhat chestnut
in color. Quickie has a star on his forehead, one white stocking on the left hind leg. He weighed @940 lbs. at the time he was sold. Reba is a miniature donkey, born on March 1, 2000. Her mother rejected her
so she was bottle fed. As a result, she was very tame and people oriented, which
is probably why she was so easy to steal. Reba was stolen on August 10th, when
she was 5 months old in the Santa Maria, California area. She is a little unusual

Hood TX riding stable for the soldiers, I had lent him to the owner for use with pony rides as he was pretty bored. Smokey is about 7-8 years old and I can definitly list identifying marks if anyone knows of someone questionable who turned up this nice looking mini in early 2000. Smokie is/was trained to do numerous ricks and will kick back if his back knee is gently tapped with a foot as cue. I have nearly given up hope, but I love him very much and hope he is ok. The # given is his vet because I travel a lot and the vet is as saddened by the theft as I am since he owned and took care of the little guy a lot. Any info. is appreciated.

This horse was "traded". Four hours after the trade my mother was sent to the hospital and a pregnant mare was lamed after the horse we traded for attacked both of them. She went through several fences and was dangerous. The horse was doped (she did not seem so when we looked at her the several times we checked on her) and it had finally worn off. We could not do anything to this woman and eventually had to sell the nutcase for dogfood. She called us wanting to sell the horse back and we didn't have the money (hospital and vet bills from the nutcase). A man called us wanting information on him before he bought the gelding. He was getting the horse for a boarder in or around hookstown, PA. I would like to know what came of him.
Description: He was a dunalino (palomino with dun stripe). Depending on the time of season and the year, he had bar stripes on his legs along with brindling. On his rump he has a light cream colored flower-shaped fist-sized spot. He's nicely built. He has a gentle disposition and wants to eat and drink anything you are. He's especially fond of Ruby-Red Squirt or Lipton Ice tea. He means a lot to my family and we like to get him back. But information on his well or not so well being would be appreciated.
